In February 2018, Mercer Island residents will vote on a replacement Educational Maintenance & Operations Levy.
The Yes MI Schools team is a citizens led group campaigning for the 2018 Mercer Island Schools Replacement Educational Maintenance & Operations Levy. The Yes MI Schools campaign is run by the Committee for Mercer Island Public Schools (CMIPS), a volunteer committee with a 25-year tradition of advocating for Mercer Island school funding. The group is separate and financially independent of public schools and taxpayer dollars.
Committee members are Mercer Island residents who volunteer their time to this campaign to keep our Island schools strong. All donations pay for actual campaign costs such as advertisements, mailings, and yard signs and not for volunteer time.
